Charlotte

October 12, 2015

On Monday the 12th it was time to fly back home. The plane was a regional jet, so first class seating had rows with one seat to the left of the aisle and two to the right. It was the last week for flights that still used the US Airways name, so this was obviously my last at least nominally US Airways flight. The price for a non-refundable first-class ticket was not much more than flying coach and paying to check a bag and buy lunch, so I flew in relative comfort in a seat on the left that was both a window and an aisle seat. It was a beautiful day and an exceptionally smooth flight. I took these shots of the Charlotte skyline as we approached the runway.
