Sixty-fifth Anniversary Celebration

White Oak Manor was the location for the sixty-fifth anniversary celebration on June 29, 2006. Paul had fallen four weeks earlier and sustained a contusion on his hip. He went to White Oak Manor for therapy, and was progressing well toward getting back to walking as of the anniversary. The home already had planned a family cookout for that evening, so that became the anniversary party, too. Ruth and Paul were joined by their son Steve, Paul's sister Sara Mode, and their niece Joyce Lee.

The staff of the home presented them with the flower arrangement and balloon in the pictures.
